Last year I ordered a ridiculously expensive door. My husband thought I was crazy because we already had a front door which worked perfectly fine. I just hated our old door the minute we found it on sale and had to buy it because of time and costs. It was a modern door with square windows down the middle. The door is the first thing you see in the house, and our old door just didn't work for our house. I simply love how the door and entrance turned out. You can only make a first impression once, and I think it is important to set your guests in the right mood when they arrive. For extra special days we usually light torches in the garden too. Now the wreath is up and we are ready to greet our guests.
