A visit to the Christmas market in Trondheim

Since we live in Trondheim, a visit to our homegrown Christmas market is mandatory. On this particular day it was - 9°C !!! Freezing cold!!! As well as lots of tents with products like cured meats, candy, crafty stuff, sugared almonds and lots of other things, they also had a farmers marked with lots of local food. It didn't take long  though before we had to escape the cold and seek shelter in the restaurant tent. The tent was so cosy with a fire, live music, great food and drinks. I had the best burger of my life, made from reindeer meat. Really hard to find a table on a friday evening though, so you have to shuffle in with lots of people and be sociable. After having eating, a visit to the waffle-on-a-stick tent was needed to keep the kids interested. Here are some pictures from the visit:
